Witness of Wendalin Bower – May 2022

I am a member of the BCT group and was present for both the Transitus and Feast Day recently of Blessed M. Catherine Troiani on May 5th and 6th. I was moved by the Transitus because of the bible readings, prayers and candle lighting. It was very caring, respectful, and lovingly done in my opinion. The Feast Day was also very loving and moving because of the mass and I loved the words of the priest as he spoke his homily. I was grateful I got a chance to be a part of both celebrations. I wish I could put into words the joy that my heart felt, especially being able to witness the Sisters renewing their vows. I only wished the world could have known how wonderful these two celebrations were.

I love our BCT group meetings and look forward to them because I admire Blessed Catherine Troiani so much. Her courage, her tenacity and trust in the Lord is something I personally aspire to have. I love that blessed Catherine took care of the poor and took in children that had no one to care for them. I pray for the miracle she needs to become a saint.

I enjoy the other members of the group and the Sisters. I enjoy praying and socializing. I especially love the order of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary because of the missionary work they do all over the world. 

I thank God for all of the above, as it has changed my life for the better over the years, because I want to do good for the poor and unfortunate too.

Thank you for asking me to put into words what's been in my heart these years because of the BCT group.
