A Joyful Visit with Our New Shepherd
On a rainy summer morning in July, the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary welcomed Bishop Joseph Williams, the newly installed ninth Bishop of the Diocese of Camden, for a special pastoral visit. The intimate Mass was celebrated in the Sisters’ chapel, joined by Father John Rossi, Pastor of Saint Bridget, and the new Parochial Vicar, Father Thomas Piro.
In attendance were Sister Stacie, Sister Nabila, and Sister M. Bernarda, who warmly received Bishop Williams and shared time in prayer and heartfelt fellowship. The liturgy was reverent and deeply moving, honoring both the sisters and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to whom they are devoted.
This visit was a grace-filled moment for the community, offering a beautiful beginning to the bishop’s ministry among the religious women of our diocese. May Our Lady continue to guide and bless Bishop Williams in his pastoral leadership.
